Choices

Sometimes having no choice is better than having too many choices. I shall henceforth quote an example..

Right now, i'm going into army 20 days later.. then after that, i'll eb choosing a big decision to decide a large part of my life - where and what to further my studies. I can either 1) do an optometry diploma and take over my Dad's business (safest and easiest), 2) do a medical degree overseas (difficult and harsh but rewarding), 3) do a psychology degree in NTU, 4) do a Life Sciences degree in NUS/NTU. I have to weigh my decision and it is getting tiring. Most people would encourage me to stay in Singapore, and I agree.. it is much more safe and easier. But I also wish that I could be different, and absorb the power of overseas.. I hate to make a wrong decision and I can only blame myself , not others. And when I go through all this, I remember that making faults are precedented to making good moves.. Only through mistakes can one become more powerful. But some mistakes destroy you..

One thing is for sure.. once I go in army, I'll start to understand. Everything. Having choices is almost always better than having no choices.
