実に面白いだ (Truly Interesting)

Seeing as I've dedicated one hour of my life each day to revising and studying, I've more or less kept up with what was going on in the school. However, there is the problem of being paired up (by twist of fate) with a previous gold medalist, and by God, he is truly amazing. He's by far, the only person I know that reads so much and do so much work behind the scenes that I cannot comprehend the possibility on whether I can ever reach his level. Probably not. Our aims are different. To give an example, by week 3 of the semester, he has read 5-6 books on EACH subject. wonderful, isnt it.

Anyhow, adhering to that 1 hour each day is actually more difficult than it seems. Often just when i'm about to start the ball rolling, something comes up (such as duty driver, or a chat on msn which leads very long), end up I've less time and I just browse through. Though the time spent is the same, u somehow realise within yourself that it could have been spent better if you have concentrated better.

Also, there is the question of how one retains what one has read. I find that I've close to zero memory retention (possibly an effect after army), even though other people do not seem to have such problems. I attribute such condition, if i may call ti, to be related to a lack of closed attention.

Truly, uni life one would expect to be filled with fun and love but it is actually filled with lots of readings, revision, and money spent. You cannot comprehend how much money one has to spend on books alone. Borrowing from library is one thing but one will probably end up photocopying the entire book (copyright infringement yes) which costs $20 at least.

On Organic Chemistry- this subject is a big NO NO for me. And it's really maths in the end. Lots of practice. I often wonder how is it useful for my course this subject when i have biochemistry. Pfftt. I must thank Junxin, for he has given me lotsa help in this subject during the past month. Thank you bro, it's a wonder we still have good relations after so many years of non-contact lol.

On whether to remain in university- Well, I've sorta achieve a balance in this. Back 1 semester ago, I had no desire whatsoever to continue in university life. I still feel now, in part to that, that there is no meaning (意味がないと言う) in continuing university other than to obtain a degree, and to prove to myself that I can do that. IT's become from a daily thought-struggle to a monthly review of the validity of this life. At least it doesnt take too much nonsense-time this time round. I'll be, hopefully, administering in one of the projects my Dad thought of (related to sales), and this will become another part of my life.

In conclusion, facebook is truly interesting.. and some pictures.
